myJSCC - How do I check my status or username?

Only those users who are active can log in to set up their myJSCC account. Typically, this means that you completed a course in the last year or are currently enrolled. If you are unsure of your status, then you can check to see if you are "Active".

If you are not active, then you will need to reapply for admission. Please check the website (www.jeffersonstate.edu) or email admissions@jeffersonstate.edu for more information on how to apply.

If you do not know your username or aren't sure what it is, then check your Username to be sure and you can also find your J-number. If you cannot get any results from the Username lookup, then you:

  • May not have yet completed your application
  • May be entering the wrong name, be sure you are using the name you would have originally applied to JSCC with
  • Your birth date may be incorrect in the system or you may have entered the incorrect format
