How do I log in to Blackboard?

How do I log in to Blackboard?

There are several methods to logging into Blackboard. 
For best experience, use a Desktop/Laptop. 
For Android products, Apple iPhone/iPad, visit the App store for newest versions of Blackboard. 

Method 1


Step 1: Open a web browser and put jeffersonstate.edu in the address field. Once the website loads, Click on the myJSCC link at the top. 


Step 2: Log in to Jeffstate using your email address and password. (We use a SSO-Single Sign-on system so one password for all services.)


Step 3: On the right side of the home screen, you will see a link for Blackboard Courses. 



Step 4: You are on the home page for Blackboard now. 

Method 2



Step 1: Open a browser, put bb9.jeffersonstate.edu in the address field and hit enter. This is the page you will see immediately.  Enter username on this screen, hit next, then password on next screen. 



In 4 screens, you are now in Blackboard and ready for classes.
