Block Popups in Chrome
Annoying Popups from Websites? How to block unwanted notifications in Chrome.
- With Chrome open, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and highlight and click the Settings link.
- Once the Settings menu opens, highlight and click the Privacy and Security link.
- In this menu, highlight and click the Sites Settings menu that mentions Popups.
- You are almost there. In this menu highlight and click the Notifications link.
- Cowabunga!!! You finally made it. On this menu, you can see the 3 options. Here you see I blocked ALL notifications. You can choose to allow some sites by using the Add button at the bottom of the screen.
- Sit back and relax. Chrome will not pop up those annoying ads you see in the corner of your screen covering your clock.
