Annoying Popups from Websites? How to block unwanted notifications in Chrome.




  1. With Chrome open, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and highlight and click the Settings link.

  1. Once the Settings menu opens, highlight and click the Privacy and Security link.

  1. In this menu, highlight and click the Sites Settings menu that mentions Popups.

  1. You are almost there. In this menu highlight and click the Notifications link.

  1. Cowabunga!!! You finally made it. On this menu, you can see the 3 options.  Here you see I blocked ALL notifications. You can choose to allow some sites by using the Add button at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Sit back and relax. Chrome will not pop up those annoying ads you see in the corner of your screen covering your clock.
