Campus Safety

To keep students safe, business should be conducted via phone, email or online chat to the fullest possible extent. If students must come to campus, we ask they first make an appointment and distance themselves 6 feet away from others. The latest Jefferson State communication is posted at https://www.jeffersonstate.edu/covid-19info/ and sent to students, faculty, and staff via e-mail. 


Admission Information

Apply online - www.jeffersonstate.edu/admissions! All students are required to submit a primary ID. If you have not submitted your ID, upload it online - https://jsccid.paperform.co. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. 



Transcript Submission

Transcripts must be official and cannot be e-mailed or faxed. Please review our Transcript Submission Policy on our website before sending transcripts - https://www.jeffersonstate.edu/admissions/admission-requirements/. 

  • High school transcripts sent without a graduation date or prior to the printed graduation date are considered partial. 
  • College transcripts must be sent directly from previous colleges.
  • Transient letters may be e-mailed to our Records Office - records@jeffersonstate.edu.
If you applied for admission and submitted your ID, you will receive an acceptance letter via e-mail once your ID is processed. Please check your Spam folder.

If you experience login issues with your myJSCC account, e-mail helpdesk@jeffersonstate.edu. 


International Students

If you are a Deferred Action student, your Employment Authorization Document and I-797 are required. If you are a Permanent Resident, your Permanent Resident Card is required. You may e-mail the appropriate documentation. For other Visa types, please contact Stacye Thompson - international@jeffersonstate.edu. 


Transcript Request

You may request your official Jefferson State Community College transcript online. Visit https://www.credentials-inc.com/tplus/?ALUMTRO001022.
