How do I set up a myJSCC account?

Your account password has been set to a temporary default. You will need to activate (or re-activate) your myJSCC account before you can access Blackboard, Office 365 (e-mail), OneACCS Online Services, or any other logins that use your jeffersonstate.edu e-mail and password.

Follow these steps to access your online account:
  1. Go to jeffersonstate.edu and click on myJSCC in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on the blue "Help and first time users" link.

  1. If you do not know your official Jeff State username, click on the "check your username" link and enter the required information.

  1. Next, put in your full Jeff State email address for the username (ex. -- username@jeffersonstate.edu) and the default temporary password J@MMDDYY (where "MMDDYY" is your 6-digit date of birth including zeroes, January 1st, 2001=J@010101).
  2. You will be asked to set up security questions and a new password.
  3. Once a new password is established, you will be asked to log back into your account with your email address and new password.
