How do I set up a myJSCC account?
Your account password has been set to a temporary default. You will need to activate (or re-activate) your myJSCC account before you can access Blackboard, Office 365 (e-mail), OneACCS Online Services, or any other logins that use your jeffersonstate.edu e-mail and password.
Follow these steps to access your online account:
- Go to jeffersonstate.edu and click on myJSCC in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click on the blue "Help and first time users" link.
- If you do not know your official Jeff State username, click on the "check your username" link and enter the required information.
- Next, put in your full Jeff State email address for the username (ex. -- username@jeffersonstate.edu) and the default temporary password J@MMDDYY (where "MMDDYY" is your 6-digit date of birth including zeroes, January 1st, 2001=J@010101).
- You will be asked to set up security questions and a new password.
- Once a new password is established, you will be asked to log back into your account with your email address and new password.
